The resqme Foundation is committed to saving lives on the road in our local Santa Barbara community and across the world. The Foundation supports traffic safety by funding educational programs, scholarships, research, and events.
In collaboration with Operation Alive, resqme Foundation has taken the initiative to produce an educational lifesaving booklet about vehicle submersion. Our partnership aims to spread a universal and easy-to-remember message on "How to Escape from a Sinking Vehicle" by following the 4 Lifesaving Steps. We thank all the various organizations that have been part of this booklet. Click here for more details.
This Vehicle Submersion Booklet only works by unifying agencies that are dedicated to spreading the same lifesaving message. As "Stop, Drop, and Roll" has become a widely recognized response to fire, we hope to make the 4 Lifesaving Steps the standard for vehicle submersion response for the safety of your community. Together we can save more lives.
